The Homy Inn

Logo design and partial branding suite for The Homy Inn - a neighborhood bar in Omaha, NE with a charming nostalgic vibe that's been serving up champagne on tap since 1956.

The main challenge for me in rebranding The Homy was that the bar is steeped in memorabilia and nostalgia and people like it the way it is. To honor the heritage of the bar and pay tribute to its Wild West saloon facade I designed a custom wood cut inspired brand mark that's both inviting and comforting - just like the bar itself. The colors I chose convey a bit of that dusty western feel but also carries a lot of playfulness and fun. Keep the champagne flowing!

Brand applications

Their online presence is in dire need of an upgrade. A well curated Instagram page would go a long way to solving that - offering photographic evidence of good times and being a vehicle to proclaim daily specials and special events.
